Notes

About
Kate Lyddon's pencil drawings, detailed etchings, human size sculptures and expansive canvases propose figure and object combinations that are simultaneously familiar and uncanny. Her subjects are displaced, disrupted and disfigured through redrawing or rearrangement. They avoid definition and instead suggest a slippage between disparate eras, locations and narratives.

Education
Kate Lyddon (born Brighton, East Sussex) lives and works in London and studied at Chelsea College of Art (MA Fine Art 2006), Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Stockholm (PGDip 2003-2005), and CanterburyChrist Church University, Kent (BA Fine Art 1998-2001).
